My Story

Hello, my name is Laura

I am a Relationship, Sex & Intimacy Coach trained in the Somatica® Method of Sex and Relationship Coaching.  

Vulnerability is my middle name and I have taken my own beautiful and sometimes painful journey to find the me that I am blessed to be today.

I am a permissiary wanting to help you find your own permission to be exactly who you are, whatever that looks like.  I love to work on deshamifying people’s beautiful desires and choices in life and to help others gain comfort with their bodies and with their sex.

I want to help you find your voice: Your “Yes” and your “No,” and support you in your self-care and the gift of setting boundaries.

My past experience…

Many years of my life were spent in the professional world, with some years in Medical Management, the Premium Wine Industry, and most recently, as an Executive Vice President in Private Client Personal Insurance.

Most of my work history has been about being in service, human connection and developing relationships.

I’ve also had diverse experiences in my personal and love life. Twice married, I have experienced physical abusive and long-term emotional abuse with someone diagnosed with Covert Narcissistic Personality Disorder by a reputable psychotherapist. I didn’t know what I was in, I didn’t understand why I was treated as an adversary, I knew nothing about narcissism and the passive aggressive, manipulative and gaslighting behaviors. I didn’t want a second divorce; I was financially tied to him and I stayed in a life that was difficult and painful and causing more damage by the day.

It took me many years to say “Goodbye” to him and “Hello” to myself, and I finally had the courage and knowledge to do what was best for me and I left the marriage without looking back.

I moved on to create a beautiful and fulfilling life of learning, growing and healing doing personal growth work with the Human Awareness Institute (HAI), the Somatica Institute, ISTA, Circling, Ecstatic Dance, Non-Violent Communication, Radical Relating, Tantra workshops, spent a year with a Somatica Practitioner, and I do personal guided work with sacred sacraments for mind, body, spiritual and emotional alignment.

I am a Graduate of the Somatica Core Training, the Somatica Advanced Training and the Somatica BDSM Mastery Class.

And who I am as a sexual being

After being in an emotionally abusive relationship for many years and having a nearly non-existent sex life and thinking I was sexually complete at 49 years old, I created an incredible life full of sexuality – one I never dared to imagine.  

I am a cisgnedered female and an energetic and empowered lover who knows what she wants.  I am heterosexual and I am bisensual. I am a kinky “Good Girl” submissive and call myself a Sensationalist!  I am monogamous and have dabbled in Open Relating. My goal in sexuality is pleasure!

Being in service is what I do and who I am. Cocreating relationships and supporting people is what gives me the most joy and what fills my heart and soul . . . with Intimacy, with Vulnerability, with Integrity, with Transparency and with LOVE.
